As part of the Love Hendo Saturday event tomorrow, be sure to stop by the bee mural between 10 AM and 4 PM to see the finishing touches being added by Matt Willey, artist and founder of The Good of the Hive. HVL Bee City USA volunteers will be onsite distributing FREE pollinator-friendly seed packets and information. Hands On! Children's Museum volunteers will offer art and craft projects for kids, including making "bee hotels" for solitary native bees. Vendors will have items such as local honey, pollinator garden plants (yes, we'll have milkweeds!), The Good of the Hive prints and T-shirts, cloth butterfly wings to wear, etc. for sale.
*The bee mural site is located at Hands On! Children’s Museum building (in the Azalea Public Parking Lot), between N. Main Street and King Street, facing Third Ave. E. in downtown Hendersonville.
