For 7 years now we've watched God do more than we could have imagined through Refuge Retreat. We've seen college students encounter Jesus, discover authentic community, grow as disciples, and return to their campuses energized to put their disciple-making in action. Every retreat weekend fuels the fire ignited in our hearts from day one.
As we've prayed about the future of Refuge, one question keeps coming to mind:
What would it look like for us to have our own property?
A place where students could gather year-round. A place for discipleship, worship, leadership development, prayer, and community. A place that would serve not only today's students, but generations of students to come.
We don't know exactly know what that future property looks like, but we do believe that now is the time to begin preparing for it.
That's why we're excited to launch the Refuge Property Fund—a dedicated initiative to help us save and prepare for the day when God opens the right door. We are working with local realtors, real estate attorneys, and mortgage lenders to help us in the process. However, we are praying that God will provide the funds through our amazing support base (that's you).
