CHICAGO ACTORS!!AUDITIONS!!!
Now accepting video audition submissions for the Chicago company of "MURDER MYSTERY FOR HIRE, INC.
Winner of the 2022 Chicago Readers Choice Award.
Murder Mystery for Hire, Inc. was founded in 2002, by Award winning Broadway actor/producer/director Jimmy Ferraro.
This is an Interactive, scripted and improvised, immersive, interactive, musical comedy, murder mystery company.
All roles are paid.
Audition Requirements: Roles available for Adults 18 – 75
Initial auditions will be held by video submission. Unlisted YouTube link for video format is preferred. E-mail your audition video to: [email protected], along with:

You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your audition video has been received. If you do not receive a response within 3 days of sending your video, call or text 727-457-7768 to check on status.
What to include in your Audition Video:
1. SLATE–Tell us your full name and the title of your audition song.
2. SING – Choose a classic musical theatre song .
Sing along with an instrumental track (no lead vocals on track). Keep your vocal selection to one minute or less (32 Bars).
3. SPEAK–Show us your speaking & acting skills with a monologue (if you have one) and recite 2 of the following lines with a strong New York accent.
MALES:
1. HEY! LOOK I DIDN’T MEAN ANY DISRESPECT; HOW YOU DOIN’ ANYWAY ?
2. YO! WHAT ARE YOU TALKIN’ ABOUT..I STEAL STUFF, BUT I AIN’T NO KILLER!
FEMALES:
1. YEAH, YEAH, YEAH...I BRANG THE INSURANCE PAPERS WITH ME, YOU STUPID IDIOT!
2. YOU KNOW , I SEEN YOU AT THE BEAUTY PARLOR PRESSING YOURSELF UP AGAINST THE OWNER, LIKE YOU WAS TELLING HIM A SECRET OR SOMETHING!
