This week in Costa Rica 🇨🇷, a team of students from Sisters, Oregon is stepping into communities with one mission: to share the hope of Jesus through fitness.

From building relationships with kids and youth to encouraging local gym partners and community leaders, every workout is creating opportunities for the Gospel. They’re also preparing and delivering care packages as a tangible expression of Christ’s love.

Pray for open hearts, meaningful conversations, and lives transformed this week!

Over the past several weeks, we’ve had the privilege of having two teams to Latin America to serve, encourage local churches and gyms, and use fitness as a platform to share the hope of Jesus.

We’re grateful for an incredible summer of serving and for everyone who said “YES” to going! These teams embraced every opportunity to love people well and make Christ known. To God be the glory.

Thank you to everyone who prays, gives, and supports us at Get Strong Ministries. Because of your partnership, lives are impacted, relationships are built, and the Gospel is shared.

What an incredible week of serving, connecting, and sharing the hope of Jesus in Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Our team had the opportunity to visit gyms throughout the country, including Level Up Gym, American Jungle Box, and Harvest, and Snaga Gym. We trained alongside local communities, shared our stories, built relationships, and encouraged athletes and coaches with the reason for the hope we have in Christ.

We also spent time serving in the Tirrases community through an ESL Conversation Club, using English as a bridge to build friendships, share Scripture, and share the Gospel.

This team showed up ready to serve, love people well, and make Jesus known. We are grateful for every conversation, every connection, every workout, and every opportunity to share the Gospel.

This mission team is on the ground serving in Costa Rica this week, and we’re excited to see how God moves through them.

While they’ve made multiple mission trips to Nicaragua, this is their first time serving in Costa Rica. Throughout the week they’ll be in three different communities, using fitness as a bridge to build relationships, share the hope of Jesus with youth, and encourage local communities.
They’ll also be visiting CrossFit gyms each day, strengthening existing relationships, making new connections, and creating opportunities to share the Gospel.

Join us in praying that God would go before this team, orchestrating every conversation and connection. May lives be impacted, faith be strengthened, and Christ be glorified in every community they serve.🇨🇷💙
