Another fun time at the Etowah Lions Club Game Night. A few more people and we played Rummikub and Shut the Box. Liz brought homemade cream puffs. Thank you all for coming out. See you on April 24th.

For those who are stumbling onto this page or simply still looking for our company the Etowah Lions Services, Inc changed hands July 1st 2024. Please reach out to Maybins Trash Service for your questions concerning pickup, scheduling and more. If you have online bill pay and you have not gone in and changed your mailing address to Maybins and company name. (Simply delete the Etowah Lions and add Maybins. See their website for instructions or perhaps go ahead and pay online) Your payment will be delayed and or sent back. I will no longer monitor this FB page nor respond to any inquiry's. Thank you. Those that put out the recycling for the tan weeks on the Etowah Lions Side of Maybins please take it back in. I just got word that the HC Landfill has stopped taking recycling at this time. Don't take it to the landfill either. Or call first. That is all I know. Please call 8288913071 for any further questions you may have. Thanks.

I am posting on behalf of Maybin's/Kirby garbage collection. You are welcome to take your trash to 2411 Asheville Hwy and drop off this week. (Trash and recycling) Sorry this is late but I have been out of all communication services. Trash service was suspended because we simply cannot safely send trucks and people out on the roads. Some roads unless you have a car are still not passable. The Henderson County Landfill has been open all week. Transfer station only last time I checked the entrance to the recycling center was blocked by a down tree and power lines. You may still have to go through the scale to get rid of your trash. If your recycling was this week for the Etowah Lions Clients you will have to hold your recycling until the next recycling cycle. This is the purple weeks for recycling. Most of the primary roads have been cleared enough for those who just have to get out can. But it is still a war zone and people are trying to get it cleared out. Hard to do when everyone is driving around. But we all do what we have to do. If you need to contact anyone from the former Lions Club customer base please call Maybins. You can use the same number 8288913071. The Etowah Lions officially sold July 1st. Thank you! God bless you all and you know I (Debbie) care deeply for each and everyone of you!
