Learning English and preparing for citizenship are about more than passing a test or learning new words. They create opportunities to share our stories, understand one another, and feel more connected to the community we call home.

That’s the power of literacy. That’s the power of connection.

Voices of Connection is our yearlong series uplifting learner voices.

Stories help us see one another more fully and build connection and understanding across our community.

We can’t wait to hear some of these stories at our Annual Awards Celebration on November 3.

Voices of Connection is our yearlong series uplifting learner voices.

Every person who walks through our doors brings a story—the places they’ve come from, the challenges they’ve faced, the people they love, and the dreams they’re working toward. At Literacy Connection, we believe those stories deserve to be heard.
