Introducing Shiraz!

We are so grateful to once again be supported in the 2026 Hendersonville Bear Walk by our very own volunteer and board member, Dr. Susan Welch. Proceeds from the auction of Shiraz will directly support the ongoing operations of our pantry, helping us continue to serve our community.

From the Artist:

Shiraz bear is named for the deep purple colored grape variety used to produce Shiraz, also known as Syrah, red w**e. The warm days and cool nights that we enjoy in Hendersonville create ideal conditions for cultivating European vinifera and French-American hybrid grapes. Shiraz bear is painted in the art nouveau style, taking inspiration from Gustav Klimt with her sinuous gold vines and deep blue and turquoise color palette.
