HolidayFest HolidayFest is a 501c3 organizatiom holding and supporting events that give back to the community. HolidayFest is a 501C3 Nonprofit.

It is the umbrella organization for an annual celebration of activities and events from October thru December designed to unite the entire community – people, businesses, government, the arts, and service organizations. Our activities have two primary benefits: 1. To monetarily help worthy non-profit causes 2. Bring substantial business and tourism dollars to the community. HolidayFest does this by attracting thousands of visitors to Sumner County to attend over 2 dozen seasonal events from Holiday Christmas Parades to Shopping Extravaganzas. Through sponsorships, and donations, HolidayFest is able to promote the events and charities via our website, social media, print and television. HolidayFest also helps train the non-profits in their fundraising efforts during these holiday associated events. HolidayFest was founded in 2007 and grew out of a meeting between Steve Luther of Keller Williams, and Lynda Evjen a new resident (at the time) to Hendersonville. HolidayFest has a volunteer Board of Directors and Advisory Board.

📣 The HolidayFest Board has an announcement to make,
For Hendersonville third graders and kindness’ sake!

We’re packing up papers and sending them through,
Because THIS WEEK we’re delivering Cindy Lou Who! ❤️

To each Hendersonville school the contest will go,
With a question for students whose kind hearts just glow:

“What act of kindness is your holiday tradition?”
We want YOUR story, YOUR heart, YOUR rendition!

Maybe you help someone, maybe you share,
Maybe your tradition shows someone you care.
Whatever it is, let your own words shine through,
Because nobody can tell your story like YOU!

Finish your essay by November 16th with cheer,
Then HolidayFest Board Members will gather them here.

And THREE special writers- oh, what a delight!
Will be chosen because their words shined bright.

They’ll wave from the 2026 Hendersonville Christmas Parade,
As one very special holiday memory is made! 🎄

So sharpen those pencils! There’s writing to do!
Could one of our winners be someone like YOU?

❤️ The HolidayFest Cindy Lou Who Essay Contest is officially on its way to schools THIS WEEK! To have your student participate, please contact your child’s 3rd grade teacher!

The HolidayFest Board selects 3 winners for monetary prizes and presentation at a BOMA meeting in January. Winners also get to ride in a convertible in the Hendersonville TN Christmas Parade.

👑✨ Introducing Your 2026 HolidayFest King & Queen — Bubba & Suzi Perry! ✨👑

HolidayFest of Sumner County is proud to officially announce Bubba and Suzi Perry as our 2026 HolidayFest King & Queen!

During a special crowning ceremony Thursday evening at Bluegrass Golf Course, our outgoing King & Queen, Brian and Lois Burnett, passed the crowns to Bubba and Suzi as we celebrated the beginning of another wonderful year for HolidayFest.

Bubba and Suzi are true pillars of our community—people who lead with generosity, kindness, and a genuine love for the place we all call home. They embody exactly what the HolidayFest crowns represent: being ambassadors for good and using your influence to make our community a little brighter. ❤️

We are incredibly proud to have them representing HolidayFest throughout the coming year!

And their reign begins soon! 🐷🎶 Their first official appearance as HolidayFest King & Queen will be at PigFest, October 22–24!

Please join us in congratulating King Bubba & Queen Suzi Perry! 👑❤️ We know they will wear these crowns and represent our community with pride.
