Because of Covid, I found myself silo living with working from home every day. I found myself on an island with my family. When I serve the community I feel empowered and energized. Another passion I have is to share the lake with others. My home is on the lake I have lots of lake toys. So after serving we will be hanging out in my backyard on Old Hickory Lake. We are a community that serves the n

on-profits in Sumner County generally on Fridays. Then, we create a community by playing together on Old Hickory Lake. Our information and schedule are on our website and include a variety of ways to give back, involving our First Responders, Honoring Veterans, Cleaning our shorelines, and caring for animals. This is an excellent opportunity to serve as a family, learning to give back and serve together. Your volunteer community hours qualify for the Tennessee Promise Scholarship. Thank you to Broken Paddle Outfitters for the use of kayaks and a powered John boat. We had a mighty crew that filled up a trash can full plus 4 tires, construction barrel and several 5 gallon containers.
