Good morning and happy holiday,
Just some food for thought. This week provides some excellent opportunities to demonstrate the scout law around the house. At Board of reviews, scouts are often asked to give examples of the scout law in their life. This week gives them a chance to utilize the scout law and help around the house.
Scout law- Thanksgiving edition
Trustworthy: A Scout can be trusted to get their chores done first thing in the morning so they are available all day for the family.
Loyal: A Scout can spend the day with their family, not just their phone.
Helpful: A Scout can help in the kitchen.
Friendly: A Scout is friendly to all. ( no change needed)
Courteous: A Scout can greet all family and friends joining you for Thanksgiving.
Kind: A Scout can spend some extra time with their family relative they see the least.
Obedient: A Scout can quickly follow directions when helping in the kitchen.
Cheerful: A Scout can bring some Thanksgiving cheer to the home.
Thrifty: A Scout can scan through the Black Friday ads and make a list for their parents.
Brave: A Scout can try a new food at dinner.
Clean: A Scout can help with those dishes.
Reverent: A Scout can say a few words at dinner
