Three years ago, a Facebook post began the conversation between friends. Soon, a stolen idea turned into a reality and Wrapping Up Henderson In Warmth was launched. Each year, donated scarves, hats and gloves are hung with care throughout Henderson for those who need warmth. A tag is attached to each item which reads, “take if you need.” The items are wrapped around trees. Some are draped from the branches of bushes or hanging from a swing. But each year, the blessings continue and warmth is given to those who need it most. Our donors are angels on earth!
