Today I wanted to share a thank you letter to the best President Ever served all of us.
Barack Obama always made me believe that hope is alive and that we should carry that hope into our future dreams and share it with the next generation of children in our programs.
As a retired professional women’s basketball player, I always dreamed of playing President Obama in a game of HORSE. But knowing his skills, my chances might be better if we played the word CAT 😊.
My name is Cardte Hicks, and this week I celebrate 71 years of life. I am still blessed to be running my nonprofit, The Legends Kids First, continuing to pour love, guidance, and inspiration into our youth.
Thank you, President Obama, for eight wonderful years of dignity, grace, and being a true class act. We love and appreciate you and your beautiful family. I only wish you could have served longer.
May God continue to bless you, your family, and our great country.
