Bluegrass in the Park has been bringing in incredible artists for the past 30+ years to our beautiful downtown Henderson. We love seeing an event like this full of Hendersonians- it shows how arts-oriented our community really is.

That’s right, we’re kicking off our 40th Anniversary celebration at lunchtime. Grab your coworkers, your family, or your friends and head to Audubon Mill Park for live bluegrass, artisan vendors, great food, and a full day of festival fun.

September 15, 2026 - Dinosaur Dimensions

Experience a captivating pre-historic production featuring a large cast of dinosaurs and performers, seamlessly woven into an hour-long production. From an awe-inspiring 8-foot-tall Dilophosaurus roaming freely on the stage to animatronic and robotic dinosaurs, this show promises to excite audiences of all ages!

October 25, 2026 - Hadestown
Anais Mitchell's haunting, jazz-inflected folk opera follows Orpheus' mythical quest to overcome Hades and regain the favor of his one true love, Eurydice. Winner of 8 out of 14 nominations in 2019, this heart wrenching musical is still wowing audiences on Broadway today as the tour wows audiences across America.

November 20, 2026 - The Boy Band Project
The Boy Band Project transports you back to a time when the boy band phenomenon dominated pop culture, and TRL was appointment television. Delivered with their own special mix of handsomeness, tongue-in-cheek humor, and Broadway talent, these boys have been seen all over the world spreading their boy band love. Even if you've never demolished a Trapper Keeper notebook with pictures of your favorite boy ba**er, this show will make you party like it's 1999 before you can say Bye, Bye, Bye.

December 18, 2026 - Blue Suede Christmas
Starring Scot Bruce, the ultimate "Elvis," this riveting and ROCKIN' holiday tribute concert features the wonderful Christmas songs recorded by Elvis Presley, including "Santa Bring Me Back", "Blue Christmas", and more! A show guaranteed to have you ALL SHOOK UP!

February 13, 2027 - Louisville Orchestra
The Louisville Orchestra's In Harmony Tour brings world-class orchestra music directly to communities across the Commonwealth. Through free public performances, educational programs, and partnerships with local organizations, the tour connects Kentuckians of all ages with the power of live music. ***Single tickets for this performance will not be available to the public until closer to the performance date.***

March 11, 2027 - Artrageous
Step into a world where art comes alive, colors dance, and creativity knows no bounds. Picture a spectacle where music, dance and live painting collide in a mesmerizing fusion, leaving audiences on the edge of their seats. Critics rave about Artrageous, drawing comparisons to the innovation of the Blue Man Group.

April 24, 2027 - Deana Carter
Deana Kay Carter is an American country music singer-songwriter who broke through in 1996 with the release of her debut album Did I Shave My Legs for This? which was certified 5x Multi-Platinum in the United States for sales of over 5 million. Joined by her full band, Deana is guaranteed to deliver a night to remember!

Today, Kensington and River were able to join the annual Henderson Community College Convocation, and it was truly inspiring!

We love having offices on campus and attending this lovely event each year. Being part of campus life is a great way to be involved in our community and reach out directly to our college-aged audiences.

This quote is part of what makes HCC great, and it definitely applies to the Arts Alliance as well. It is incredible to serve a small community in a huge way, and what better way to do that then by being located at the Preston Arts Center on the campus of Henderson Community College.

A reminder that Season Tickets & Pick 3 Packages are available to purchase! Individual tickets will go on sale starting Wednesday, August 5th @ 9:00 AM! Be sure to give River a call in the Box Office, or if you see Kensington out and about, stop and say hi and talk about the arts!
