We’ve hidden teasers for each show in our season at seven different locations around Henderson. We will give five playful friends their own personal sneak peek if they do all of the following. :

🎭 like and share this post
🎭 tag a friend you want to see a show with in our new season
🎭 figure out the location of each of the teasers and send us a PRIVATE message telling us the seven locations (make sure it’s private, you don’t want to spoil the fun for everyone else! )
🎭 go to one (you only have to go to one!) of the locations and take a picture of the back of the card- it has a hint for the show that will take place on that date!

Once you’ve done all of that, give us a call at our box office at 270-826-5916 and we will reveal the upcoming season for the first five people who participate!

Henderson Area Arts Alliance Executive Director Kensington Eck was our guest on Wednesday's episode of Speak Up. She talked about the upcoming free children's summer camp where kids will be putting on an original Henderson-themed work, recapped HAAA's last show of the 2025-26 season and teased the upcoming season. The HAAA 2026-27 season will be announced on June 1.

This week has been a beautiful blur of inspiration!

HAAA’s Staff was thrilled to attend the Henderson Hospitality Summit on Wednesday, and have already started brainstorming some unreasonably hospitable ideas to apply to the 26-27 season. We love Henderson and can’t wait to show it! Congratulations to the Henderson County Public Library, Henderson KY Chamber of Commerce and Henderson Tourist Commission for putting together a beautiful experience for a community that already excels at hospitality- this summit will empower all of us to go to the next level!

In further inspiring news, HAAA’s Executive Director has been honored this week to serve as a panelist for the Kentucky Arts Council’s grants. Reading about the incredible things happening in western Kentucky and providing expert feedback to grant applicants is one of her favorite parts of the year. The Commonwealth is rich with arts experiences, and Henderson is no exception!

Big thank you to Eliza (and her awesome mom) for taking the time to join us yesterday in our grant presentation for the United Way of Henderson County. This smart and empathic young lady is an arts supporter who won over the room with her honest responses and willingness to share her experience. We are truly grateful for these moments and *love* to shine the spotlight on our youth!

Heads up everyone- we just hit 80 campers enrolled! Anyone who enrolls after this point will be placed on a waiting list. One of HAAA’s staff members will be calling people as they register to confirm registration of wait list placement. We LOVE how excited everyone is about this camp!

Update- we have reached the 80 camper limit in less than eight hours! Everyone who registered today will receive a phone call tomorrow from a HAAA staff member confirming your child’s placement in camp. If you want your child to be placed on the waitlist, we will leave 30 slots open. You may register your child/children and will receive a call confirming your place on the waitlist. The registration form will be closed once the waitlist is full.

The Henderson Area Arts Alliance is THRILLED to present their annual free Theatre Summer Camp this July 6 - 10, which will have a very special theme - The Gnomes of Audubon Forest!

This original play with music is based off of the Henderson Tourist Commission's delightful books "Audie Bon and the Gnomes of Audubon Forest," released in 2025, and their newest book "Luna Snailberry, released last month. These books, developed in partnership with the Henderson County Public Library and John James Audubon State Park, are a fun and magical way to explore reading and nature- and now, a way to explore the magic of the arts on stage!

This summer camp is available to the first 80 campers who register. Any campers registered beyond the first 80 will be placed on a wait list and notified if slots become available.

This camp is first come, first serve, and registration will go FAST - make sure you sign your theatre-loving kiddo up today!

**Important Note** This camp is for youth ages 5-18 who are able and willing to participate in an on-stage performing experience. There will be up to 10 available slots for campers in 6th - 12th grade who are interested in technical theatre as well, so kids can learn about the performing arts on stage AND backstage!

We’re still saying WOW. Ending the 25-26 season with "Monarcas" by Calpulli Mexican Dance Company was an artistic gift. Such rich, beautiful storytelling, and the loveliest cast and production team. Thank you to all of the volunteers, board members, audience and community partners who helped make this happen. Henderson continues to be an incredible place to live, work and play.
