American Legion BMI Unit 40 is hosting a FREE Trunk or Treat for the community on Friday, October 23rd.

Bring the kids and gradkids for some sweet treats! We will be selling hotdogs $7.

We are asking for asking  for candy donations not only for trunk or treat but for goodie bags for the So. Nevada Veterans Home in Boulder City.

Also, we would love to have some more decorated cars,trucks or motorcycles. Please sign up if you can be there and be part of the festivities. Every car will need to bring at least two bags of candy.

American Legion BMI Auxiliary Unit 40 is a sponsor for Wreaths Across America. Please your orders before December 1st to honor your special Vetetan.

Wreath will be place at National Veterans Cemeteries (all locations) on Saturday, December 19th.

Spooktacular Trunk or Treat.

Time:
👻The evening kicks off at 5 pm and goest to 8 pm in the America Legion BMI Post 40 parking lot.

🎃Setup time: 3:30 pm

This is a FREE event to the community.

There will be hot dogs and snacks for purchase.

We need decorated cars from our Legion families and local businesses. Please dm or email us at [email protected] to sign up your car,motorcycle or truck.

Each car needs to come with at least one large bag of candy and dress in your spookiest Halloween costumes!

We are also asking for donations of candy for the event! Donations can be dropped off at the legion bar.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 40 is doing their annual Book Fair on Sunday, November 15, 2026 from 12 PM to 4pm.

Stop by to find that perfect book or buy a mystery bag of books. Gently used books for adults and kids in all genres. We will also have lots of puzzles.

Prices will range from $1, $3 and $5 and mystery bags at $10.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 40 helped join in welcoming home veterans from the Honor Flight on Oct 4th.

It was so nice to see so many organizations, such as the American Legion, American, Legion auxilary, VFW, several Military Rider organizations,dance teams and middle schools, and families, who came to welcome the veterans home from their Honor Flight from Washington DC.

American Legion BMI Post 40 invites you to join in a Corn Hole Tournament at the Post. So grab a partner and sign up today!

All skill levels welcome!

The tournament begins on October 7th and ends December 30th. Games will be every Wednesday at 6 pm except for the 3rd Wednesday of the month!
