🚨MEDICAL POST🚨

Not long ago there was a hound and a bully breed come into the shelter (separately), and both were found to need medical care. The hound, now named Allen (available for rescue/adoption), we noticed didn't want to put weight on his front legs, he was taking longer to move around and had what looked like road rash. The bully mix, Prada, had a vaginal prolapse and an abdominal hernia.

Both animals were taken to the vet. Allen was given an exam and the medication needed to relieve his pain and get his skin condition under control. They were able to do surgery on Prada and repair her hernia and prolapse.

Both animals are doing much better now thanks to the care they received, but things like this are not possible without partners like you! Together Allen and Prada's medical bills came to $546.94. In order to continue to give medical care when needed, we rely on your generous support and every little bit helps.

The Blood 🩸 Connection will be in front of the drive-in screen at the Raleigh Road Outdoor Theatre from 4 pm-9 pm on October 24th. Each donation can help 3 or more people PLUS Vance County Animals!!

Details:
Each donor will receive a $30 gift bag from The Blood Connection.
Also, each donor will receive a free popcorn/drink coupon from Raleigh Road Outdoor Theatre as a thank you for your donation.
