Attention HSA members ARIZONA EVH1 Update: the Board of Directors received a call today from the NVDA. The Nevada state veterinarian has said there will not be a forced quarantine at this time. He stated there is minimal risk as no direct contact was made by Nevada participants with the positive horses that were on site at the event. The state veterinarian will reach out to the Board of Directors with any new communications or updates concerning the Arizona EVH1 outbreak. Please reach out to the HSA Board of Directors if you have any questions.

Attention all HSA members. The board of directors has received notified of an EHV1 cases in Arizona. The HSA BOD has contacted the NVDA for direction. At this time there are no reported cases in Nevada. The NVDA will be monitoring the situation and will advise us as more information becomes available. Please follow safe biosafety practices. Please reach out to the board of directors or executive officers If you have any questions. We will continue to update as needed.

Good afternoon everyone some of you may have noticed that there are contractors working along the fence line by row “A” row and along the back area facing the apartments. VCI contractors are updating fiber optic cable. They will be on property till Friday afternoon.

UPDATE: HSA Members, if you have a current Coggins and Health Certificate travel within the State of NV is legal. If you do not have current Coggins and Health Certificates the waiting period for incubation expires on 12/25/2025. Please try and wait until after the 25th if possible.

Good morning everyone,

Due to the next meeting being so close to Christmas, the BOD has canceled the meeting for December 24th, 2025. This was discussed at the Board meeting on December 1st and is in the minutes that are posted at the clubhouse. The next meeting will be held on January 14th, 2026 at 6:30pm.

We have had several Halloween events at HSA. The cooperation and generosity of so many that attended was just amazing. Those that helped prepare for the event, donated candy and treats, cleaned, set up, we thank you all. The people that attended were the best…what a wonderful, fun night! And the food that was brought in!!!!!
Wow! Can’t wait to dive into the photos!
