Saving them from cruelty and abuse is our higher mission and finding them loving forever homes is our ultimate goal. OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Phase 3 of relocating the last 17 rescues of the Salamat Shelter, Samar, in honor of my "spiritual sister" pitbulera and animal lover, Beth Sizemore, is now accomplished. All 17 arrived on June 1 at the IRO Lolo Ali Center. Heartfelt gratitude to the TEAM (you know who you are), the donors from the Philippines, and the U. S. (you too know who you are), and a specific mention to the caretakers at Salamat and Beth's family from the United States and Catbalogan, Samar, who allowed Beth's last wishes to be fulfilled. The 17 are now in quarantine and transition as we do health assessments with the center's in-house vet, Dr. Efren Aleguen, and provide any immediate health care. As you will see from this brief video, the first Samar dogs (Vandolph, Twinkle, Bantay, and Butter Cup) are fully integrated with the Cebuano LAC dogs. In the meantime, the IRO Lolo Ali Center-5 of the Samar dogs are adjusting really well. They are Bantay (blind dog), Vandolph, Twinkle, Butter Cup, and Lights. On June 1, the last 17 Samar dogs will be relocated to the IRO Lolo Ali Center. Please pray all are successfully and safely relocated. Beth Sizemore continues to smile in heaven. ❤️

Phase 2 of relocating 18 Salamat Shelter rescues has been accomplished! The Aklan-9 safely arrived in Iloilo City and AARRC Team picked them up. Thank you to JM and Given from AARRC! Thank you to Frances (IRO) and Noynoy (Salamat Shelter) for taking care of the Aklan-9 during the 12-hour trip. Thank you TransAsia Shipping for a safe trip for our caretakers and 9 rescues. Now we will begin Phase 3 for the last 15 rescues to be transferred from Samar to the IRO Lolo Ali Center, Barili, Cebu. Please continue praying for this mission for Beth Sizemore.

Thank you RE Rodriguez and PAWS Haven! Aklan-9 - they are on a ship to Iloilo and will be met by JM and Given from Aklan Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Center and Michel and Nereesa Van der Kleij. Frances (IRO) and Noynoy, Samar's animal caretaker are with the dogs for their 12-hour trip. Thank you to all for fulfilling Beth’s last wishes. ❤️

Update on the Salamat Rescue dogs: Phase 1 of relocating the Salamat Rescue dogs has been successfully accomplished, thank you to the hard work of many people, including the caretakers at the Salamat Center and rescuers from all over the Philippines. That is how much Beth Sizemore was respected and loved. The photos are of Phase 1, 10 dogs going to Cebu's IRO, Island Rescue Organization, Inc. They are now happily transitioning in three of IRO's locations. Phase 2 is planned for May 20. They will be 4 to Finally Home Animal Rescue, Ormoc, Leyte; 10 going to the Aklan Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Center (AARRC), Banga, Aklan; and 4 to Paws Haven Sanctuary in Naga, Cebu. Phase 3 is planned for the last 15 dogs that will go to the IRO Lolo Ali Center, Barili, Cebu. The date will be announced soon. Beth is smiling in heaven knowing all of the Salamat Shelter dogs have found new homes, rescue centers, and sanctuaries. More updates soon. ❤️

With the recent passing of the founder/president, it is with sorrow to tell everyone that we have to close the shelter and re-home the furrbabies due to financial and personal reasons.

Right now, we have 39 dogs and 6 cats that needs a new home. We are hoping that someone with a big heart will welcome these pets in their homes.
