Youth Leadership Authority (YLA) is proud to be a part of Day of Gratitude 2026!

How is YLA involved?

You KNOW YLA LOVES the military and veternas, right? Yes!

-We work alongside every branch.
-We participate in many community service events to honor and support them and Veterans for 24 years!
-We build our youth into Military members- have for 24 years.

*76% of our graduates join the military.

How will YLA be involved?

1. We will be volunteering for the event - If you want to be a part, let us know immediately please at [email protected]

2. YLA will have a "Resource Booth" at the event to offer scholarships to our military members and their families. 👀Military Families need to know about YLA and our 14 programs ( DONOR PAID) for their kids!

3. We will be ONE of the locations giving aways the wonderful goods - to the military members and their families on Friday, June 12th ( YLA OFFICE) 11-4 PM.
*You must register to attend.
*You must select YLA as your pick up location through a QR code the day of the event.

We would like to serve those Veteran's and military families in the Henderson & Boulder City as well as our community partners that work alongside of YLA throughout the year to train our students - Thank you!

To select YLA to receive your goods from YLA- you will receive this OPPORTUNITY the day of the event - select: Youth Leadership Authority 👏

If you don't know what Day of Gratitude is, let me fill you in!

City Serve who are near and dear to YLA, put on this event with the assistance from a few stellar groups: like "Raiders Staduim" to honor and celebrate our military members! Others mentioned on the flyer.

It's a full day to honor our military members and their families! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲👏👏👏 Filled with honor, concerts and fun for kids!

When: June 6th, 2026 at Raiders Staduim- You must register!!!!

Do you struggle with anxiety & worry?

Is there a specific problem you have that you need help with?

Let's do something about it - together.

At YLA, we like to look towards solutions.

We have created a toolbox of useful methods and practices to help you get through daily struggles and over obstacles. This is one of them.

We look for SOLUTIONS because sitting in a problem does not help anyone or any situation to resolve.

Worry does nothing but take space in our minds.

Take ACTION 🎬 instead.

At YLA we teach and use what we call OUR PPPA Method = Pray, Pause, Praise, Action.

We also have created this outline for you to use.

This will help guide you through each day with specific actions filled with encouragement, hope, prayer and gratitude - IF you fill it out and apply.

Use it. Share it.

Live in the solution - not the problem.

Be the example to those around you. They may need someone to lead them too.

We can't wait to see your progress!

The "stolen guideon chase" is something our Eagles have been putting our new Starfish through for years!

This year was no different.

Starfish Hasley earned the Most Motivated Guideon 💪🏽 and Eagle Harper stole it! You see.... he left it (my baby) unsupervised- 😬 🤭 😬

Lesson: NEVER EVER leave your Guideon alone. 😁👏👀

Ps: It was given back ONCE he caught him 🤣 And he will NEVER do that again!
