The Veterans Action Foundation (VAF) is proud to kick off our 4th Annual Turkeys for Troops (T4T) campaign, supporting lower-enlisted service members and their families at Nellis Air Force Base, Creech Air Force Base, and the Nevada National Guard. Through this annual Thanksgiving program, VAF provides $50 grocery gift cards to help military families purchase food and other items for their Thanksgiving meal. 100% of every donation received for Turkeys for Troops goes directly toward funding these gift cards. With the continued generosity of our community, businesses, organizations, and individual donors, we hope to make Thanksgiving a little brighter for the dedicated men and women who serve our country and their families. Please consider supporting Turkeys for Troops and helping us give back to those who serve our nation.

October 13, 2026, we celebrate the proud legacy of service, strength, and sacrifice that has shaped the Navy into a global force for good since October 13, 1775. From defending our shores to ensuring freedom on the open seas, the men and women of the U.S. Navy continue to stand ready, around the world, 24/7. To all sailorsโ€”past, present, and futureโ€”thank you for your dedication, courage, and commitment to our nation. Fair winds and calm seas!
