As we conclude our Brave series, we turn to the life of Peter—a passionate, impulsive disciple who experienced both incredible moments of faith and some painful failures. Peter walked on water, tried to defend Jesus, denied Jesus three times, and eventually wondered if he had anything left to offer. Yet Jesus wasn’t finished with him. Through Peter’s story, we discover four powerful lessons.
If you’ve ever felt like a failure, questioned whether God could still use you, or been tempted to give up because of something that happened in your past, this message is for you. Your failure does not have to write the final chapter of your story. God sees beyond who you are today and sees who you can become for His kingdom and His glory. What do you do when God asks you to move forward but you don’t know how the story is going to end? Sometimes the hardest part of being brave isn’t facing the battle—it’s taking the first step when the outcome is still unknown.

In this week’s message from our Brave series, we look at two remarkable women of faith: Ruth and Esther. Neither woman knew what the future held, yet both chose faith over fear, courage over comfort, and obedience over uncertainty. They didn’t allow difficult circumstances to define them, and they didn’t wait until they had all the answers before moving forward. Instead, they trusted God, followed His leading, and discovered that their obedience was part of a much bigger story than they could see.

Maybe you’re standing in an unknown season right now. Maybe you’re waiting for answers, wondering why this is happening, or wishing you could see the whole plan before taking the next step. Ruth and Esther remind us that bravery isn’t knowing how the story ends—it’s trusting the One who does. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know who holds tomorrow. So silence the voices of fear and uncertainty, take the next step, and be brave!

Go And Be Brave

Bravery isn't about having no fear. It's about trusting God enough to move forward while you're still afraid. If God is asking you to take a step, don't wait until you feel brave. Take the step—and trust that He will be with you.
