The parking lot paving has started! We will be closed for applications at least through Wednesday November 6. Please call to check on our status before coming on Thursday or Friday.

Praise! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our parking lot repavement fund. Work will begin next week! We will be closed Wednesday, October 30 to Friday, November 1 for applications.

Thank you for all your donations for the churches of Burnsville. We will be sending the needed items soon.
Because Burnsville has received so much donations are becoming more burdensome than helpful at this time.
Because of this, beginning Friday, October 18, we will stop receiving donations at Rebuilding Hope until further notice.
We have received and will continue to accept financial donations. That money is being used to meet specific needs as they are requested by the churches.
Again thank you for your response to those who lost so much.

We have learned that Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Burnsville has more than enough of most supplies at this time. In fact they are a little overwhelmed and could use teams that would help organize and distribute the items. Anyone interested in putting a team together can call Rebuilding Hope at 252-438-5132 for more information.
We will limit collections at this time to:

Winter Coats - all sizes
new or gently used
Lanterns - battery powered only
Lantern batteries
LP Gas Buddy Heaters
Sleeping Bags

To drop off donations please drive around to the back warehouse at

Henderson NC
where someone will be available you help you 9-5 Monday- Friday.

Crab Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville is stabilizing, beginning to return to normal, and is saying it no longer needs supplies sent. As we continue to pray for the church, its leaders, and its community, we at Rebuilding Hope will be shifting our focus for relief efforts to Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Burnsville NC. Though most of the community around the church does not have electricity, the church does have electricity. And the church dug a well this week since the water plant for Burnsville was destroyed by the storm and could take as long as 2 years to restore. Rebuilding Hope is sending a generator and a shower unit with 8 showers and other supplies tomorrow. Communication is challenging due to poor cell phone signals. We will have more information when the volunteers who make the delivery and set up the shower unit return.
We have put together a list of supplies others in the area have requested and we will update when we have more specific information.

An update to our list of needs for Crab Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville

The weather is about to take a turn and get cold. Blankets and coats will be a need.
Also, I've got Brooke Grissom working on supplies for horse, cattle, etc... But it never hurts to tell more people. Hay and feed are a HUGE need. As soon as it hits our property, it's gone. If people want to donate money for that, thay would be great! Brooke at Grissom's Fertilizer will load pallets and Thomas Franklin will deliver.
