Park & Play at the Salvation Army Community Center of Henderson! Today we did the Kids Fun Run with the 6 year olds! They led pre-run stretches which was hilarious! We got pumped up to compete in the fun run and talked about the importance of having fun even if you don’t place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd! They were such a great group and were extremely proud of themselves. The fruit snacks and cold water served as a great treat for really hot day!!

Kudos to Fred’s Towing & Transport for sponsoring the 2026 Kids Fun Run. Even after our annual race day had passed, whatever inventory is left we carry it over to Park & Play and the kids in the community are able to participate and have fun!!

Had the pleasure of attending the Gospel Fitness Night hosted by Jayden Watkins and Higher Is Waiting Nonprofit Organization, and it was a truly enjoyable experience.

Each year at the Keep Pressing 5K, we award a deserving charity with the Keep Pressing Award and a monetary gift of $1500.00.

Oxford Housing Authority Fun Day was 🔥!! Live music, good food, lawn chairs and fellowship!! Such a beautiful day with beautiful people!!

We cut up 5 watermelons 🍉 and played games with the kids!

What a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Green Rural Redevelopment Organization - GRRO held a Heritage Home Fun Day and it did not disappoint! Thank you for the invite we had a great time serving fresh watermelon and meeting new senior friends and family!

Shoutout to Rev Coach and PrimeTime group for some fun in the sun line dancing and aerobics!!

Tonight we concluded week 14 of our Minority Diabetes Prevention Program! We are so proud of the work this cohort has accomplished.

Each week participants receive wellness bucks for tracking food, activity minutes, and reaching goals. Today they were able to attend the Pop Up Shop to purchase some amazing items. They have the option to shop now or save bucks for larger purchases.

Today we had the opportunity to participate in the Edmonds Tennis & Dentist Community Day!

Our Park & Play friends from Vance County Housing Authority had a wonderful experience! They learned the fundamentals, practice techniques, and played some really cool games with the instructors!

Thank you Coach Jerry, Coach D, and team for the warm welcome and exposure to the game of tennis. Keep building champions on the court and in life!

After lunch and more tennis, we ventured over to the park for some more fun! What a great day in the neighborhood!!
