Had a wonderful time at the Henderson Veterans Treatment Court Holiday Party yesterday (December 15, 2022)! Judge Alicia Albritton was very appreciative of the Veterans Action Foundation involvement. I was joined by Judge Mark Stevens, former Henderson Veterans Treatment Court Judge. It is a great feeling seeing these veterans who made mistakes stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility for their actions and enrolling the Veterans Treatment Court Program. A big shout out to Judge Albritton and Corelle Bellamy for all they do. Also a shout out to Judge Stevens who started this great program in Henderson

“A word of caution about Veteran Donation Abuse. During the season of giving please be mindful that some use the word Veteran as a way to get donations for themselves instead of veterans. Make sure you do your due diligence to ensure that at least 90% of your donation goes to veterans and not to the organization/person asking for the donation.”
