The focus, determination, and energy displayed throughout rehearsal this week have been incredible.

If you’ve been to an HCHS football game this season, you know we normally perform after the game. That’s an intentional decision we’ve made as a band staff because it gives our students the best opportunity to set up, perform, and tear down while also giving our community a chance to see the same show we take to competition.

But we’ve heard from family members and community supporters who have asked to see the band perform at halftime.

So, tomorrow night, with the support of our admin and athletics, we’re making it happen!

The Colonel Brigade & Guard will be taking the field at HALFTIME!

And it’s the annual Pink Out, so wear your pink, support the Colonels, and stay in those seats at halftime! We’d love to have a great crowd there to support all of our students.

We’ll see you tomorrow night!

A rumble of distant thunder illuminates the darkened nighttime sky.

Last weekend marked the beginning.

The first step onto the field. The first glimpse of what the Henderson County Colonel Brigade & Guard may become.

Now, our eyes open.

TODAY brings a different kind of opportunity. A chance to learn and grow.

New eyes will watch. New ears will listen.
New perspectives will challenge us to see what we cannot yet see ourselves.

Every rehearsal has added another layer. Every refinement has strengthened another seam.
Every lesson learned has become another thread in the tapestry we're building together.

The descent continues.
Not because we are falling apart.
Because we are descending deeper into the work.

Deeper into the details.
Deeper into the pursuit of becoming the best version of ourselves.
The bottom remains unseen. The path remains unfinished.

But with every performance, the picture becomes clearer.
With every lesson, the creation grows stronger. With every step, every day, every week.

The hunt began last week.

This week, something changes.

And for the first time, we begin to wonder...

The sunset concedes to the darkening skyline. Colonel Stadium sits silenced.

Tonight, while Friday night lights shine at Daviess County, a different kind of power is building in the shadows.

The pieces are coming together. The creation is growing stronger.

Rest up tonight, Colonel band family. Tomorrow, we take the next step into the deep abyss.
