Lone Star Lodge #85 is proud to partner with the Prairie View Pan-Hellenic Council (PV Greeks) for the 6th Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive!

As we prepare for another school year, we invite the Hempstead and Waller County communities to join us in supporting our students and families.

This event will provide free school supplies, complimentary haircuts, and access to medical resources and appointments to help students start the year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed.

Lone Star Lodge #85 proudly recognizes and supports Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. This month, we encourage our brothers, families, and the entire community to help break the stigma surrounding mental health by creating safe spaces for honest conversations, offering support without judgment, and reminding those who are struggling that they are not alone.

Seeking help is a sign of strength—not weakness. Together, we can build a healthier, more compassionate community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

THANK YOU!

On behalf of the Brothers of Lone Star Lodge #85, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who attended and supported our annual PM Joe Davis Memorial BBQ Cookoff.

Because of your support, this became our largest event to date, with 34 outstanding cook teams competing for top honors. More importantly, together we were able to award over $7,000 in scholarships to deserving students throughout Waller County, helping invest in the next generation of leaders.

Thank you to every cook team, sponsor, volunteer, vendor, judge, and guest who made this event such an incredible success. Your generosity and support continue to strengthen our community and make a lasting impact.

We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!

🔥 Rodeo & BBQ Season is Here! 🔥

Lone Star Lodge #85 is proud to support Smugglers Blues, a cook team made up of members of Lone Star Lodge #85, as they compete in the 17th Annual Charity Wild Game Cook-Off & Rodeo hosted by the Texas Association of First Responders.

This incredible event supports our first responders and features a State Championship Cook-Off, rodeo action, live music, and great fellowship throughout the weekend.
