Thursday Night at Lone Star Park
delivered a Special Texas-Bred Arabian Maiden!

The June 11th opener at Lone Star Park produced a memorable night for Texas Arabian racing as WMA Red Wings (RB Rath x Blazing Wings), a 3-year-old gelding, soared to victory.
The win marked a major milestone, giving owner Loree Ethell-Jin her first career victory and jockey Santos Rivera his first Arabian racing win. A special moment for both connections and one they’ll never forget.

Adding to the excitement, the race also welcomed respected Thoroughbred trainer Wayne & Trish George to Arabian racing. Making their Arabian training debut, WMA Magical turned in a strong performance to finish second, showing plenty of promise in his first start under George’s care.

In one of the closest finishes of the evening, RB PROM QUEEN and jockey Iram Diego found another gear in the stretch to edge out a game WMA BABY DOLL by just a head at the wire!
