This handmade sports quilt was donated to the library by Paula Ivey. We have enjoyed it all summer and it’s your chance to take it home. The quilt will be auctioned to the highest bidder on Tuesday, September 8th at 11:00 am. All proceeds will benefit the Library Friends of Hempstead.

MAY MEETING
Library Friends Hempstead will meet Thursday, May 21st at 9:30 AM at the Hempstead Library to plan upcoming events.

SUMMER SCHEDULE
Friends will be distributing snacks to kids during the summer reading kickoff on June 10th at 1 PM in the Hempstead Library. All members are invited to assist. There will be no regular meetings in June or July.
