Nelson L Gonyaw Jr Cancer Foundation/Hope4.life Hope4.life is a non profit designed to help homeless veterans and foster children with a place to live, learn, and grow. Our story begins with my dad, Nelson L.

We want each person to be healthy and self sufficient upon completion of our programs. Gonyaw Jr. He was an amazing man, loving father and had a heart for helping others. In his lifetime he inspired others through his love for Jesus, leaving a legacy of true compassion with everyone he met. My dad and my hero passed of leukemia in the spring of 1983 at only 51 years old. I was 11 when I lost my d

ad, my friend, my mentor. My world was demolished by this ugly monster- CANCER! Some people tried to help us through this difficult time, some offered nothing, and some made promises they didn't keep.........IT SEEMED THERE WAS NO HOPE4.LIFE! Thirty four years later, our story begins with our love of people and our hatred of cancer, to take up arms with those hurt or hurting because of cancer. We are dedicated to breaking the mold of cancer support currently available, blazing a new trail, and empowering our community through a network of resources and opportunities.
