Hemlock, We Have an Announcement

The finishing touches are still being added, but we are too excited about this space and partnership to wait any longer to share it.

The sign may be temporary, but the partnership is official.

We are proud to announce Isabella Bank as the sponsor of the Isabella Bank Fieldside Lounge, located alongside Wallace Field near the Patrick Wolgast Fieldhouse.

The Fieldside Lounge was created to offer another unique experience for our students, families, community members, and guests. The semi-private viewing area includes a serving bar with seating for a dozen or more, a large sun screen, Edison lighting, and even a Swag Shed.

And that serving bar has already gotten us thinking. Some pretty impressive mocktails and dirty sodas may be coming to an event near you in the future.

Like many of the spaces across our campus, the Fieldside Lounge will continue to evolve as we use it, learn what works, and find new ways to make the experience even better.

We are incredibly grateful to Isabella Bank for investing in Hemlock Public School District and helping us create spaces that bring people together. Strong community partnerships continue to make great things possible for Hemlock.

For now, the temporary banner is up, the permanent signage is on the way, and the Isabella Bank Fieldside Lounge is ready to welcome its first guests.

Its first public-facing event will be the Richland Township Community Association Hometown Tailgate, Thursday, August 27, from 4:00-7:00 PM, leading into the Huskies’ home football opener against Garber at 7:00 PM.

Then, at kickoff, the Fieldside Lounge will become a place of honor as we welcome members of our public safety community, firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, and military personnel as part of Military and First Responder Night. It is fitting that one of the first groups to enjoy this new space will be some of the people who dedicate themselves to serving and protecting our community.

Come out, enjoy the tailgate, take a look at the new Fieldside Lounge, and help us kick off another great season at Wallace Field.
