Women's clubs across Southern California have been developing that kind of leadership for over a century. Not the kind that waits to be appointed. The kind that learns by doing, by running a committee, by speaking at a public meeting, by mentoring the next woman who walks through the door.
The California Federation of Women's Clubs is one of the oldest and largest women's organizations in the state. The De Anza District is part of that network, connecting clubs across a region that stretches from the Coachella Valley to the Inland Empire. The reach is wide. The work is local.
