American Veterans Assistance Group AVAG, is honored to host Veterans Connect on the fourth Saturday of every month at Hope Chapel Huntington Beach. It’s always a meaningful time as veterans come together for fellowship, encouragement, and a great lunch.

This gathering was especially memorable. The veterans enjoyed receiving thoughtful gifts from children’s, giving gifts, a received decorative socks with messages like “I am a Veteran” and “Home of the Free Because of the Brave.” Their smiles said it all!

A heartfelt thank you to Marla and Wayne for helping put everything together, and to everyone who contributed delicious desserts and entrées. We’re also so grateful to Mellissa and David Breunig for generously donating the raffle prizes for today.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to serve and connect with those who have served our country. 🇺🇸

American Veterans Assistance Group AVAG want to take a moment to recognize and honor the incredible efforts of Conrad Barrera, a proud Army Veteran and Commander with the American Veterans Assistance Group at Diamond Bar Mobile Home Park. 🇺🇸

Conrad is currently participating in Steps for Vets, stepping up in a powerful way to support the mission of ending veteran homelessness across the United States. As part of his journey, he’s invited others to join him in raising awareness and standing পাশে our nation’s heroes.

This year, Conrad is taking part in the 5K run/walk in honor of three Vietnam Veterans:

• Eddie Cervantez – Served December 12, 1968 to January 30, 1968• Richard Valdez – Served December 19, 1968 to June 6, 1969• Robert Flores – Served February 17, 1967 to December 15, 1967

Through every step, Conrad is carrying their legacy forward—honoring their service, their sacrifice, and their stories.

His dedication is a reminder of what it means to continue serving even after the uniform comes off. We stand with Conrad and all those participating in this mission to ensure that no veteran is left without a place to call home.

If you’ve been invited to join him, consider stepping up. Together, we can make a difference.

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Santiago Communities Palm Vista in Hemet 🍀

We had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Palm Vista with a festive luncheon and lots of fun activities! Residents enjoyed a lively game of Trivia; congratulations to Janice Castillo for taking home the win! 🏆

We also held a “Most Festive St. Patrick’s Day Outfit” contest, and we had two fantastic winners who truly brought the holiday spirit!

Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch together — and yes, we even had green eggs to keep the celebration extra festive! 🍳💚

This is such a special community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring residents together and create memorable events like this. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun!
