🌟 Calling All Caterers! Join Us for the 5th Annual Night of Black Excellence! 🌟

Black Voices of The Valley is on the hunt for the BEST BBQ in town! If you think you’ve got what it takes, here’s your chance to shine!

Bid Overview:
We're inviting bids from BBQ and dessert vendors for our upcoming tasting event with Board members.

Event Bid Tasting Dates:
- Sunday, January 25th at 3:00 PM
- Sunday, February 1st at 3:00 PM
(3 vendors needed each date)

Caterer Requirements:
- BBQ Vendors: Submit your top BBQ meat options and sides.
- Dessert Vendors: Bring your sweetest creations to complement the BBQ!

Participation Details:
- Serve samples to approximately 3 Board members.
- Vendors must supply all necessary equipment for serving.

Bid Submission:
- Send your proposal, including menu options, pricing, and any special offers, by January 18th to [email protected]. Apply via link!

Selection Criteria:
Bids will be evaluated based on:
- Quality and variety of menu options
- Pricing
- Presentation and creativity

Don’t forget to ensure you have the necessary permits for the City of Hemet, including a Business License and Health Card.

We are excited to announce our 5th Annual Night of Black Excellence Scholarship Awards Ceremony happening on February 28, 2026 This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and celebrate the achievements of our community.

Event Details:
Date: February 28, 2026
Location: Estudillo Mansion, 150 S. Dillion Avenue, San Jacinto CA
Time: 5PM

We are looking for:
Black-owned food trucks that can provide delicious soul food or BBQ meals for our guests.
Dessert vendors who can offer sweet treats to add a delightful touch to the evening.
