“This notice is to inform you that our vegetation treatment has been rescheduled to this Friday, June 5th. Additional areas have been added that are not shown on the map below and include the cove just east of the spillway and Icebox cove.

Our applicators have stated the following restrictions post-treatment "treatment water may be used to irrigate lawns, however home owners should wait 5 days if water is being used to irrigate gardens or landscaping ornamentals. All other water uses are unrestricted."

On or after June 8, 2026, a contractor will be completing a thin deck bridge overlay on State Road 45 at the bridge over Lick Creek, 2.87 miles west of State Road 135 (just west of Helmsburg). This is between Lick Creek Road and East Lost Branch Road. Weather permitting, the bridge will be closed for approximately 5 days to complete this work. A detour using SR 135 & SR 46 will be in place.

Shoreline Sessions Kick Off- May 17th

The Lake Lemon Shoreline Sessions kick off Sunday, May 17 at Riddle Point Park with an eclectic lineup of local and regional artists bringing a mix of reggae, indie rock, Americana, and roots music to the lakefront stage. The Sessions take place from 3pm to 6pm.

Headlining the afternoon is Reggae Union, a Bloomington roots reggae and dub group known for laid-back grooves, upbeat rhythms, and crowd-friendly performances throughout Southern Indiana. Their relaxed summertime sound pairs perfectly with an afternoon at the lake.

Also performing is Bloomington-based band Rearview Rhonda, a high-energy rock group influenced by 90s alternative, indie, and garage rock. Since forming in 2019, the band has released multiple EPs and a full-length album, earning a strong following across the Bloomington music scene for their energetic live performances.

Opening the sessions is Southern Indiana singer-songwriter Caitlin Spangler, also known as “Spanks.” Spangler blends folk, Americana, roots, and rock influences into an authentic acoustic style centered around storytelling and soulful vocals.

The Shoreline Sessions are designed to bring live music, community, and lakeside relaxation together at beautiful Riddle Point Park. Guests can enjoy food from Orbit Room and Pilis Party Taco, drinks and an afternoon of live music overlooking Lake Lemon. Outside Food and Coolers are permitted.
