Today the Helena College Foundation received a $25,000 donation to establish the Charles R. & Helen G. Taylor Memorial Aviation Scholarship. We are so grateful. Our Aviation Maintenance students will benefit from this generosity for years to come.

Helena College Alum Dalton Johnson is the next Student Regent on the Montana Board of Regents!

Welcome to the Board of Regents, Dalton!

Dalton Johnson was standing on a roof, trimming a tree for his family’s landscaping business, when his cellphone rang Monday with a reporter asking about the governor picking him to serve on the Montana Board of Regents.

Johnson laughed and said he was more blue collar than your typical student regent.

He’s the first in his family to go to college. At age 28, he’s a decade older than the typical student starting college. And he may be only the second student regent ever to come from a two-year, rather than four-year, Montana campus...
