Why??? Quite often, this is the question I am asked.

1. Because I LOVE what I do!
2. Every day is an opportunity to make a difference.

I returned home yesterday after facilitating in Beckley for almost two weeks. My heart was full. Each time I leave a correctional center. I take a piece of the residents with me.

When I entered the classroom yesterday a note was waiting for me.
It was unexpected and I was a bit speechless. This work is important and necessary.

It takes costs nothing to be kind and offer hope. I am grateful for the time spent in Beckley.

We have 18 residents and 3 staff members to our GRaCE community. 💚💙
