This fund is in memoriam to Avery who passed away on 5/14/2018 due to injuries suffered in a head on collision car crash.

The recipient(s) must be a graduating senior at Hedgesville High School located in Hedgesville, WV and plan on attending college. If you are a Senior attending Hedgesville High School in Hedgesville, WV, please consider applying for the Avery Raymond Burkhart Scholarship.

Today, as we remember Avery, please consider making a contribution to the Avery Raymond Burkhart Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Over the last 6 years we have awarded $22,500 in scholarship funds to 24 exemplary recipients. On 5/22/2025 we will be awarding an additional $3,000 to three very deserving Class of 2025 Seniors.

Our hope is to continue the scholarship each year as we want to help Avery continue to check of #13 by making an impact.

It is our belief that Avery's legacy lives on in the lives of those we impact.
