Our hearts are heavy today.

Yesterday, a devastating mass shooting occurred during a back-to-school Mass at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, resulting in the deaths of two young children and injuries to many others—most of whom were students.

At Neko Zairis Security & Critical Behavior Consulting, we believe moments like these underscore the vital importance of active shooter awareness training, preparedness, and community resilience. While there's no training for the unimaginable, being informed, prepared, and supportive of one another is a small step toward making a difference.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to the families affected, the survivors, and the Minneapolis community. We stand in solidarity with all the brave professionals and civilians working to heal and protect.
