They also work alongside trusted, licensed subcontractors to ensure every project is completed professionally, efficiently, and to a high standard.

During the presentation, SNH shared why hiring a general contractor can save homeowners time, stress, and costly mistakes. They explained how they coordinate every phase of a project, manage subcontractors, and keep work moving in the proper sequence from start to finish. They also discussed helping real estate investors evaluate properties before purchasing, identify potential code issues, and find opportunities for cost savings. We also learned about the wide variety of projects they take on. From decks, porches, and outdoor work to custom bathroom renovations and structural repairs, they focus on quality craftsmanship and customized solutions.

This week, our featured businesses is Adam Worrell - State Farm Insurance Agent✨

Adam helps individuals, families, and business owners think strategically about protecting what matters most while planning for the future. During his presentation, he shared insight into how insurance can play a role beyond just protection, serving as a tool for long-term planning and financial strategy.

During the presentation, Adam walked us through different ways life insurance can be used, including buy-sell agreements, executive benefit arrangements, funding opportunities, and key person coverage for smaller businesses. He also explained how different financial “buckets” work—including taxable, tax-deferred, and tax-free strategies—and discussed how life insurance fits into an overall financial plan. Adam shared examples of how variable life insurance policies work, how funds can grow over time, and encouraged us to think intentionally about income, retirement planning, and future goals.

This week, our featured business is 1st Choice Party Rentals✨

1st Choice Party Rentals helps make events feel polished, seamless, and stress-free by providing quality rental options and guidance throughout the planning process. During the presentation, we learned more about how their team goes beyond simply providing rentals—they help customers understand exactly what they need, even when they are not sure where to start. Their goal is to create events that look professional and come together with confidence.

During the presentation, they walked us through the wide variety of items they offer and shared examples from past events. Some of their most popular rentals include 10x10 and 10x20 tents, tables, chairs, china (including classic white and vintage options), silverware, linens, glassware, portable bars, coolers, décor, and even their newer yard games offering. They also shared that while booking early is always encouraged, they accommodate last-minute needs whenever possible. We loved seeing photos of past rentals and hearing more about the experience behind the business and the heart behind what they do.

A+ Promotions helps businesses bring their ideas to life through custom promotional products, apparel, and print solutions. During the presentation, we learned more about how their business continues to evolve with new technology to offer more flexibility, quality, and customization options for their clients.

During the presentation, Don introduced us to their new direct-to-garment printing process and explained how it differs from traditional silk screening. Using inkjet technology, the design is sprayed directly onto the garment and bonds into the fibers through a pretreatment and curing process—creating a durable, high-quality finish that works especially well on cotton. They shared how this method helps optimize production for smaller orders, lowers costs, and makes custom apparel more accessible for single items or small batches. We also learned that they can print on a wide variety of materials and applications.

This week, our featured businesses is Schumacher Roofing✨

Schumacher Roofing specializes in residential roofing and takes pride in using high-quality materials designed to last. During the presentation, Chris passed around samples of the roofing they use and explained the differences between brands like GAF and Owens Corning. He shared how both offer strong, wind-rated shingles with lifetime warranties, while Owens Corning includes a reinforced nailing strip designed to help prevent shifting and falling shingles.

The presentation also gave us a deeper look into the structure of a roof and the importance of proper installation. He explained common causes of roof leaks, such as worn rubber gaskets around pipes, and discussed why components like ice and water guard, waterproof felt, and drip edge are essential for protecting a home and preventing issues like ice dams. He also clarified that insurance often will not cover damage caused by falling shingles, making quality materials and installation even more important.

This week, our featured businesses is TnT Wrap Labs✨

TnT Wrap Labs was founded by Josh Wells, who shared the story behind the business and how it evolved from a printing company into what it is today. TnT Wrap Labs specializes in high-quality, creative wrap, signage, and print. The name itself was inspired by his two sons, Tanner and Travis (the two T's).

During his presentation, Josh walked us through the wide range of projects they take on. From large outdoor signage—like solid and perforated brick wall wraps and street signage—to detailed work like clear acrylic, contour cutting, and transparent designs, their capabilities are very versatile. He shared examples of their work with the zoo, including installations for the butterfly exhibit and wrapped walls, along with projects for high schools, trailers, buses, cars, motorcycles, and even unique items like a pinball machine and a fridge. They can wrap almost anything!
