🎼🎶These CHS students were presented the opportunity of a lifetimeto travel and share music. They are currently traveling and performing with Kentucky Musicians Abroad through the University of Louisville School of Music. These students were nominated for this opportunity and are representing the school and the music programs with excellence.

As part of the program, they are touring England, France, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands—developing their musical talents while engaging with diverse cultures through the universal language of music. 🎵 🎼

Please consider bringing your instrument and help us fill the stands to honor a great man.

On Saturday afternoon, the Conner Community was hit with tragedy, as the varsity head coach, Dave Trosper, unexpectedly passed away. Coach Trosper was a great friend, mentor, teacher and amazing coach to many people throughout his tenure at CHS.

This Friday, the band will be performing the Fight Song at Coach Trosper’s funeral, held at CHS at 2pm on the football field.

We are asking as many students and alumni as possible to come and honor a coach that has always been a supporter and advocate for our band program in his 18 years as coach at Conner HS.

Conner HS Band alumni: we ask that you provide your own instrument outside percussion or tuba. It does not have to be a marching instrument. We just want as many people as possible to be able to honor Coach Trosper.

We will meet at 1:30pm Friday, at the CHS Band room. We hope you have the availability to come and support his family and show our love and respect.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Coach Dave Trosper.
He wasn’t just a football coach, he cared about all the teams at CHS including the Band. He will be greatly missed. Please keep his family, friends and players in your thoughts and prayers.

Head football coach Dave Trosper died suddenly today at his home.

He had been the head coach at Conner since 2007.
