Willimantic Chronicle -- Hebron Lions Club Fire Truck donation:

HEBRON — In a strong show of community partnership and service, the Hebron Lions Club donated funds to the Hebron Fire Department for the purchase of a new-to-Hebron fire truck.

On Wednesday, April 29, the Hebron Lions held their 2026 Night of Giving. Donations were presented to a number of local, state, and national charities.
A highlight of the evening was the display of the newest addition to Hebron’s emergency services: a fire truck. Working together with the Hebron Fire Department, the Lions were able to fund the entire purchase of the truck.
Donations presented that evening, along with amounts mailed to organizations unable to attend, totaled more than $180,000. In 2025, the Hebron Lions Club’s total donations exceeded $300,000. Our sincere thanks go to these charitable organizations for their dedication, service, and meaningful work to improve lives and strengthen our communities.
