Lakewood Education Foundation - LEF

10/02/2026

We were honored to receive a $1,700 donation from the Buckeye Lake Region Daughters of Liberty to support Lakewood students and their education, career, and college readiness! ❤

LEF was one of three Buckeye Lake Region nonprofit nominees selected to present during the event. After hearing from all three organizations, attendees voted that evening, resulting in a tie with Millersport Community Theatre. The voting members decided to split the proceeds between the two organizations.

A special thank you to Board Member and Lakewood Superintendent Heather Hedgepath for presenting and representing the Lakewood Education Foundation!

Happy National Nonprofit Day! ❤️

From the classroom to graduation day, our goal is simple: help Lakewood students have the tools, support, and opportunities they need to prepare for college, explore career paths, and develop the leadership and job skills they need for their future.

We’re grateful for the teachers who inspire, the families who encourage, the community members and alumni who give, and the supporters who believe in the future of our students.

Today and every day, we’re proud to invest in Lakewood students and the opportunities that help them build a successful future.
