The CALL in Cleburne County Recruit, Train & Support the body of Christ to provide a future and hope for children in foster care. It's a crisis shortage!

Mobilizing the Christian community to provide a future
and a hope to children in Arkansas foster care. There are about 3,500 children in the Arkansas State Foster Care System at any given time. These children come into state custody through no fault of their own - it is because of abuse, neglect, or some other safety concern in the home. For instance, there are about 7,000 children in foster care

in Arkansas within a year, and there are only about 1,100 foster families available to care for those children! Plus, there are over 500 children available for adoption through foster care in our state. It's time for the Body of Christ to step up and meet the needs of these children in our own neighborhoods. We are asking you, if you are called, to care for one of these precious children through foster care, adoption, respite care, or volunteering in some way.

Episode 2- Our Support Center
In this episode, we take a look at our Support Center. This is a place where biological families can have family time in a home-like atmosphere as they work toward reunification. Our staff also hold meetings and office hours, and our families can come get meals or supplies for the children placed in their homes. Volunteers can come serve and help strengthen the ministry at our Support Center as well. This facility serves this ministry in many capacities.

Foster care is local missions.

Christians are called to care for the fatherless and vulnerable. Today, foster care is one of the ways the Church can live out that calling in a very real and tangible way.

But knowing 𝘩𝘰𝘸 to step into foster care can feel overwhelming. That’s where The CALL comes in.

We're here to equip local churches to support children and families impacted by foster care.

That can look different in every community. It might look like calling families to open their homes, rallying around foster families through Care Teams, creating spaces for prayer and encouragement, or supporting the mission through donations. The CALL walks alongside local churches, helping them engage in foster care ministry in ways that fit their people, resources, and community.
