When Marine Corps veteran and White Heart retreat alumni Kameron Reams came upon a severe rollover accident recently, he didn't pause. Without waiting for someone else to step up, he immediately ran toward the danger.
The situation was critical, and a passenger was bleeding out. Without a medical kit on hand, Kameron did what Marines do best: he adapted.
He literally took the White Heart Foundation shirt off his back and used it to apply pressure, successfully stopping the life-threatening bleeding.
Because of Kameron’s split-second decision and fearless action, that passenger is alive today.
Kameron embodies the exact spirit of the White Heart brotherhood, selfless, resilient, and always ready to protect others, whether in uniform or out. We could not be prouder to have him as part of our community.
Please join us in honoring Kameron for his incredible heroism and quick thinking!
