🗳️ No spoilers. No runoffs. Just results.

In this year’s local elections, dozens of Utah races, like city councils in Brigham City and Orem, were decided without true majority support. Similar candidates split the vote, and winners won with less than 50%.

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) changes that. RCV:
-Eliminates spoilers
-Ensures majority-backed winners
-Ends costly runoff elections

Utah cities like Salt Lake City and Midvale already use RCV successfully. It’s time for the rest of Utah to catch up.

This year, Midvale and Salt Lake City used RCV in their local elections.

In Midvale and SLC District 5, winners received more than 50% of the vote in the first round.

But in SLC District 3, it took three rounds before a candidate reached a true majority. RCV ensures every vote counts and every voice matters.
