It’s that time of year again and we are excited that we are able to do toyland again! If you need assistance with Christmas for your kids this year please come get a form or if you know if a family please sign them up. Also if you would like to donate toys or money to help purchase toys you can drop all donations off at Heavener Tag agency,subway or shelter insurance agency. Thank you for you continuing support

Today thanks to some wonderful community partners we were able to deliver school supplies to local area children. Thanks to Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home, Heavener Tag Agency, Heavener VFW Auxiliary, Max and Dylan Roberts, Lynn Robbins Tax Service, The Heavener Community Action Association, and the Heavener VFW, a room full of school supplies was distributed to Heavener, Hodgen, Howe, and Monroe Schools!

We love working with our amazing community partners for the betterment of our community. We all hope these supplies help some families as this school year begins.

Heavener community action association has purchased the equipment for pickle ball and it has been set up at the basketball courts south of town, if you would like to to play and don’t have the paddles you can check them out at Subway,simple Simons pizza or Heavener Tag Agency and you will be responsible for bringing them back you have to sign them out.

Go visit the Heavener Public Library, you will not be disappointed they always have something for the kids to do!

June 7th and 8th will be a busy weekend for Heavener! Friday and Saturday community wise yard sale and all permits are being waived and then Saturday American Legion Fishing derby at Blues Park, get those poles out and go enjoy time with with your kiddos!
