♦ Help entrepreneurs plan to identify capital: Most entrepreneurs write a business plan and shop it to their contacts in hopes that someone will send them a check. A more developed plan with a focused approach is what they need and the NNSBI can help.
♦ Help entrepreneurs get ready to seek capital: No new endeavor is prepared to seek outside capital until they have their story properly articulated. Entrepreneurs will need the proper written and oral presentation tools in place before they begin their search and the NNSBI can offer expert guidance.
♦ Help entrepreneurs figure out their market: Some entrepreneurs know their market from top to bottom, most do not. The NNSBI can help them gain access to resources to expand their knowledge base.
♦ Help entrepreneurs plan their business’s future: A business is more than just a business plan; it is management, staffing, marketing and sales, product rollout, strategic alliances, contingency planning, and a few hundred other things. NNSBI can help ensure they have thought through the key issues.
♦ Help entrepreneurs set milestones and measure their progress: NNSBI establishes a series of milestones for each client company. Incubator staff helps the client establish action plans to reach these milestones, measures the client’s progress, and make suggestions.
