The Heath Police and Fire Association has activated our Fallen Officer Fund and delivered a $2500.00 check to Deputy Sherifi’s family to help with their immediate needs.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office deputy killed in the line of duty and pray for the recovery of the injured Canton Police Department officer.

The Heath Police and Fire Association extends our deepest condolences to the deputy’s family, fellow officers, and all those affected by this tragedy.

Rest easy, Deputy. We have the watch.

Thank You, Disorderly Donuts

The Heath Police and Fire Association would like to thank Disorderly Donuts for stopping by the Heath Department of Public Safety this morning and treating our police officers and firefighters to several of their “Misdemeanor” boxes filled with fresh mini donuts!

We appreciate their thoughtful gesture and support for our first responders. It’s always nice to see local businesses taking the time to give back to those who serve our community.

Disorderly Donuts is a locally owned and operated mobile mini donut trailer, and they will be participating in Christmas in Heath this December. If you’re attending, be sure to stop by and check them out!

Our first event of the 2026 campaign starts tonight and we're inviting all of Rockwall County to join us and be a part of "The Magic of Christmas!"

The 2025 campaign was phenomenal! Your support helped us serve over 600 families, 1,670 children, and this year provide $15,000 in support to Rockwall Helping Hands Backpack and School Supply Distribution!

There are opportunities throughout the campaign to show up, donate new toys, volunteer and help us spread the word. Save these dates, share this post and tag our page in everything you do to support Rockwall Toys for Tots.

We'll see you tonight from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at 2850 Ridge Road, Suite 118!

*Once the application is processed and approved you will receive an approval email
*Your Control Number* You must have your control number at distribution to obtain your toys (the number can be found in the approval email)
*Follow the page for updates on Distribution dates
*You will receive an email about your distribution date and time but please follow the page in the event any problems occur with the email addresses**check Spam Folders as well**
*ALL Distributions will be held at our central warehouse in downtown Greenville, TX, address will be in email.
*Please Note**It has been brought to our attention that the Salvation Army is not servicing Greenville. Please Do Not apply for Clothing/Shoes, Food/Home Decor or anything other than Toys. Toys for Tots only distributes Toys.
*Residents we serve must live in Hunt County, Fannin County, Rains County, Royse City or Terrell, Texas. These are the only applicants that will be approved.
*Please be patient, last year we serviced 17,598 children, we distribute the toys as we receive them from our generous donors throughout our many communities.

We were happy to host this family today. He got to sit in the fire truck and police car! Happy birthday and we hope you get well soon!!

Original Post: Anyone here a local firefighter or know of one? My toddler is turning 3 tomorrow (September 22) and is a big fan of fire trucks and firefighters. I was hoping we could swing by so he could explore a truck and maybe the department. He's going through a tough season and this would be so special to him.
