🌅 A beautiful sunset, an incredible performance, and another unforgettable night for the Marching Bulldogs! 🧡🤎

The Heath Marching Bulldogs took the field under a gorgeous evening sky at the Thomas Worthington Competition, bringing Icarus to life and coming home with another impressive collection of awards!

🏆 1st Place – Class B
🥁 Best Percussion – Class B
🚩 Best Auxiliary – Class B (And A/C)
🎶 Best Music – Classes A, B & C
🏅 Best Visual – Classes A, B & C

And to top it all off, the Bulldogs have once again requalified for the OMEA State Marching Band Finals, and received STRAIGHT SUPERIOR RATINGS from all judges (the highest rating a band can receive).

What a season this group continues to have! We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and heart these students bring to every performance.

A big thank you to Thomas Worthington High School and everyone involved in hosting today’s competition. We appreciate the warm welcome, wonderful hospitality, and all the work that went into making it a great evening for the bands!

🏈🧡🤎 It’s Game Day AND Senior Night, Bulldogs!

As the Bulldogs get ready to take on the Lakewood Lancers tonight, we’re shining the spotlight on another one of our incredible Director’s Circle sponsors, Mr Bee's Appliance LLC! 🐝

As the Heath Marching Bulldogs get ready to cheer on our team against Newark Catholic tonight, we want to give a special shoutout to one of our biggest supporters!

🌧️🥈 A LITTLE RAIN AND ANOTHER SUPERIOR RATING! 🧡🤎

Mother Nature threw just about everything she had at the Heath Marching Bulldogs tonight at the Teays Valley Golden Sound OMEA Competition!

Despite the rain, wind, and storms, our Bulldogs took the field and delivered another outstanding performance of Icarus, earning 2nd Place and bringing home some impressive awards!

These students continue to make us proud! Week after week, their hard work and dedication shine through, and tonight was no exception. A little bad weather wasn’t going to get in their way!

What a day in The Shoe! 🏟️❤️🩶

The Heath Marching Bulldogs are coming home from the Buckeye Invitational with:

🧡🤎 SUPERIOR RATING
🏆 BEST AUXILIARY
🥈 SECOND PLACE FINISH IN CLASS B
🎟️ RE-QUALIFIED FOR OMEA STATE FINALS!

We had already earned our spot at OMEA State Finals on November 7, but we’re incredibly proud to earn another qualifying performance today on such a special field.

Of the 16 C/B/A bands that performed, only 5 of those bands received an overall Superior rating. We were one of those five bands.

A huge thank you to The Ohio State University for the incredible hospitality and for giving these students an experience they won’t soon forget. And, of course, thank you to The Best Damn Band in the Land for putting on an outstanding show! ❤️🩶

We’re grateful for our directors, staff, students, families, volunteers, and everyone who continues to support the Heath Marching Bulldogs.

From Orange & Brown 🧡🤎 to Scarlet & Gray ❤️🩶, it was a great day to be a Bulldog in The Shoe!

It’s Buckeye Invitational Week!!!

Come watch the Heath Band perform Saturday at 12:00 at the Ohio Stadium! Online tickets ($20)are available through the link in this post until Thursday. If you get them at the gate they will be $25 and you have to have exact cash. No cash accepted at concessions either.

Garden Flags are in!!! If you pre-ordered you can pick up this Sunday 9/27 at the Band room, (back of school by baseball fields) or at 5:00 on Monday 9/28 same location! We do have a few extra flags and holders that will be sold at concessions 9/25 if you forgot to order!
