From performing with the 🎶 Flute and 🎷 Tenor Saxophone to shining with the 💫 Color Guard, Leala Bemus has brought energy, passion, and spirit to the band family for the past 3 years! 🤎🧡

⭐ Favorite Memory:
Being part of Color Guard and creating lifelong friendships — not only with fellow band members, but also with the incredible directors and volunteers who made the experience unforgettable.

🎓 Plans After Graduation:
Leala plans to attend COTC to earn an Associate’s Degree in Business while continuing to grow a strong social media career and build an inspiring online community! 📱💼✨

Yesterday, the Heath Middle School Advanced Band earned an overall rating of 1, Superior, at OMEA Junior High Large Group!

As far as we know, this is the first time (at least in many years) that the Advanced Band received a Superior Rating at Junior High Large Group.

This is a significant accomplishment for our HMS Band students. Great job to their hard work and making school history!

Happy Mother's day to our fabulous band moms who run instruments, uniform, snacks to our kids, help with meals, run their children to practice, games and competitions and a million other amazing things that keep our band running smooth. Sadie Scott ✨🎺
Today we are shining the spotlight on Sadie Scott! Sadie has been a dedicated member of the band for 4 years playing the trumpet.

Her favorite band memory was earning a superior rating — getting a 1 at State! 🏆🎶 A moment she’ll never forget alongside her fellow band members.
After graduation, Sadie plans to attend COTC to become an ultrasound technician. We know she has an amazing future ahead of her! 💙

One piece of advice Sadie would give to new members:
“Enjoy your years in band while you can. It goes a lot faster than you think it will, so don’t stress about being perfect. Just have fun and enjoy the moments that you make along the way.” ❤️

Meet Zach Robinson!
Zach has been a dedicated member of band for 7 years, including 5 years in marching band, where he played the alto saxophone. 🎶
His favorite band memory is going out to eat with friends after football games — making memories both on and off the field. 🍕🏈
After graduation, Zach plans to continue his musical journey by playing classical saxophone performance at The Ohio State University. 🎓🎷
His advice for new band members:
“Make new friends and have fun.” 💛
