Shout out to Cottonwood P*e Wee program for reaching out and inviting us to bring ALL 3 of our teams for a BIG scrimmage night!

Also, want to give a shout out to Houston County P*e Wee for inviting us a couple weeks ago to take on their Lions for a week of scrimmage games.

Nights like this are great for both programs and these kids that we do this for.

Let's talk about what it means to be a RAM...

After Friday Night Lights, our JV boys that also play with Varsity, showed up bright and early to take on our Mites. Our Mites didnt have a team to play today and those boys have been putting in the practice over the past several weeks. This gave our Mites the opportunity to work on some technical parts of game day and they got to have a good time lining up against the big boys!

A group of kids who could have stayed home and slept in after a long week of school and football, chose to show up for the younger kids of their community. That means more to this group of Mites than these JV boys will ever know.

Thank you to Headland High School coaching staff for always taking care of us and building the culture right along side us.

Attention local P*e Wee Organizations!

We have our first game of the season this Saturday, but our Mites are in need of someone to play! If you would be interested in coming to Headland THIS Saturday morning to play our Mites age group(8U) please reach out.

These little guys have been practicing for a couple weeks and they need to be able to see what game day is like to understand what they are working towards.

We observe weight limits so you would need to do the same.

Go stock up to get your player through the heat of late afternoon/night practices!

Let's talk about hydration:

Hydration isn't just about drinking DURING practice. It starts at the start of the day. Players should be drinking plenty of water throughout the day. About 30 mins- 1 hour before practice begins it is beneficial for players to drink something with electrolytes for hydration.

Safety is our top concern as board members and coaches so plenty of water breaks will be given and we will all be monitoring player health during practices.

Football practice begins Monday, July 27th at 6pm! Helmets, shorts, and cleats until coaches tell you otherwise!

Headland P*e Wee thanks the Headland High School Varsity Rams for putting on a well organized, effective but still fun camp! This group of players were the most respectful group of young men, interacting with players, picking up trash without being told, asking how they could help, hyping the kids up. It was a great thing to witness!
