We hosted an outdoor archery tournament for AL S3DA yesterday. All the archers had challenging wind, and heat to shoot through. But all stayed positive and had a lot of fun! Every kid on our team that competed, placed today! Way to go kids!!
Thanks to all our sponsors for making these events possible for our youth! And thanks to Melissa Elmore-State Farm Agent for always providing us shade on very hot and sunny days! Also, thanks to the City of Headland for allowing us to use their ball field. And Taco the Town for bringing the delicious tacos!!

📣 The Next Chapter of Alabama S3DA Starts with You!

At the end of this competition season, our current S3DA State Coordinator will be stepping down. While this marks the end of one chapter, it also opens the door for a new leader to step forward and continue building opportunities for athletes, coaches, and families.

We are currently looking for someone passionate about youth archery and the S3DA mission to serve as the next State Coordinator for Alabama.

There is also a unique transition opportunity for the next State Coordinator. In addition to onboarding and support from the National Office, the current coordinator has offered optional mentorship and assistance to help create a smooth transition and continued success for S3DA within the state.

Henry County Archers hosted Alabama S3DA's 3D State Championship a couple weekends ago here in Henry County. We had 48 kids from AL, GA, and FL attend. We had 19 kids compete. Everyone did great and were so proud of all of our archers!!

We celebrated the last day of 3D practice with a little something sweet. Turns out, the kids loved the fruit more than the candy. The fruit plate was completely gone by the end of practice. This weekend is 3D State, and then we'll start Outdoor practice next week!!
